Frequently Asked Questions

How long does setup take? +

Initial setup typically takes 10-15 minutes. This includes unboxing, connecting to your computer, installing necessary software, and configuring your device with a PIN and recovery seed.

What if I lose my recovery seed? +

Your recovery seed is the only way to restore access to your funds if your Trezor is lost, stolen, or damaged. We strongly recommend storing it in a secure location. If lost, you should immediately transfer your funds to a new wallet with a new recovery seed.

Can I use Trezor with mobile devices? +

Yes, Trezor Model T can connect to Android devices using a USB OTG cable. Trezor Suite also has a mobile app available for both iOS and Android that can be used with your Trezor device.

Is my cryptocurrency safe if Trezor goes out of business? +

Yes. Your cryptocurrency is stored on the blockchain, not on the Trezor device itself. The device only stores your private keys. As long as you have your recovery seed, you can always access your funds using other compatible wallet software.
